- Bring 4 cups of water to a gentle boil in a teapot or saucepan.
- Remove from heat and add the lemon balm leaves.
- Cover the pot and let the leaves steep for 5-10 minutes. The longer the steeping time, the stronger the flavor and benefits.
- If using, add grated ginger and a cinnamon stick for enhanced weight-loss properties.
- Strain the tea into mugs, discarding the leaves and any additional herbs.
- Add lemon juice and honey or stevia for taste. Stir well.
